Date Thu, 10 Feb 2011 10:49:44 GMT
Hello everyone I am new to mahout, I am planning to use it for my
undergraduate thesis, the thing is that when I try to run the 20news example
i get the follow error: and also it says that my HADOOP_HOME is not set but
I do have it, and I already compiled and installed the core and the examples

$MAHOUT_HOME/bin/mahout
org.apache.mahout.classifier.bayes.PrepareTwentyNewsgroups -p
examples/bin/work/20news-bydate/20news-bydate-train -o
examples/bin/work/20news-bydate/bayes-train-input -a
org.apache.mahout.vectorizer.DefaultAnalyzer -c UTF-8
no HADOOP_CONF_DIR or HADOOP_HOME set, running locally
