Does anyone know a way to do this?

Thanks.

I want to measure xml vs javabin update message indexing performance.

Why would you want to do this? Javabin is used by SolrJ to communicate with Solr. XML is good
enough for communicating from the command line/curl, as is JSON. Attempting to use javabin
just seems to add an unnecessary complication.
