Subject [jira] Commented: (SOLR-1295) Move javascript client from contrib to clients dir in source

Erik Hatcher commented on SOLR-1295:
------------------------------------

Committed. All seems well, but I'll leave open until Eric and others give the thumbs up that
all is well with Solr's build, etc. With it moved, it no longer is in the contrib-crawl.
That's no problem for me at this point, but what about for a release build of Solr - what
do we want included in the main Solr distro? Is it as desired right now?

> It seems odd that the javascript client is in the contrib, unless you think of it more
of a library that you then hack up. At any rate, here is the patch assuming you have done
svn mv http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/solr/trunk/contrib/javascript http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/solr/trunk/client/
