Subject contrib / DIH / javadoc build glitch?
Date Thu, 31 Jul 2008 22:34:48 GMT

Asside from the current hudson failure (which seems to be a problem with
a new Jmx tests) when i run "ant clean javadoc" right now i'm seeing it end with this...

  [javadoc] Generating /home/chrish/lucene/solr/contrib/dataimporthandler/target/javadoc/contrib-apache-solr-dataimporthandler-1.3-dev/stylesheet.css...
   [javadoc] 9 warnings
[subant] Failure for target 'javadoc' of: /home/chrish/lucene/solr/contrib/dataimporthandler/build.xml
[subant] The following error occurred while executing this line:
    [subant] /home/chrish/lucene/solr/contrib/dataimporthandler/build.xml:124: /home/chrish/lucene/solr/contrib/dataimporthandler/target/javadoc/contrib-apache-solr-dataimporthandler
not found.

javadoc:

BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 31 seconds

...there seems to be at least 2 problems here...

Problem #1: something about the way DIH javadocs are being built is
failing, either because the target directory isn't being created first, or
because the <javadoc> macro is being told to use the wrong directory

Problem #2: even though the javadocs are failing for DIH, the build
succeeds ... is that intentional? it seems like this should fail the
build.
