Subject Which Solr version to use?

hi,
We are planning to roll out a few features in our org using Solr. I wish to
use a 1.3 deployment. While it is fine to do testing with 1.3 nightly
builds , to go into production we may need a realease. We are planning to go
into production as early as next month end

What is advisable?use 1.2 or 1.3?
