Lucene does not support any serialization out of the box. If you really need to serialize
the RAMDirectory, you have to do it on your own using the IndexInputs provided.
Lucene 3 accidentally had RAMDirectory be able to be serialized, but it was broken. All of
this was removed in 4.0.
