Thanks Michael,

I am going to use FacetFields/FacetsConfig. So using FacetFields we can
define a hierarchy like below.

doc.add(new FacetField("Publish Date", "2012", "1", "7"))


Is it possible to use FacetFields like this, as we could do with
CategoryPath?

doc.add(new FacetField("Publish Date", "2012/1/7"))
