Here's what you get (which is correct):

% java -classpath /usr/local/lib/lucene-1.4.1.jar:. \
       -DSearchText.QueryDefaultOperator=AND \
       -DSearchTest.QueryParser=new SearchTest 'coffee OR tea'
query is (title:coffee authors:coffee contents:coffee) (title:tea authors:tea contents:tea)
