If you feel that the existing documentation is insufficient or confusing then we should improve
it.

Solr logs are already very chatty, I'd rather not add yet another thing to the log "just in
case" if it's already clearly documented.

 Nope; apparently {{maxRamMB}} has precedence.  Solr should log a warning or even throw an
error if the user does this.
