Subject [jira] [Created] (SOLR-11712) Streaming throws IndexOutOfBoundsException against an alias when a shard is down
Date Fri, 01 Dec 2017 02:02:00 GMT
Varun Thacker created SOLR-11712:
------------------------------------

             Summary: Streaming throws IndexOutOfBoundsException against an alias when a shard
is down
                 Key: SOLR-11712
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-11712
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
            Reporter: Varun Thacker

I have an alias against multiple collections. If any one of the shards the underlying collection
is down then the stream handler throws an IndexOutOfBoundsException

{code}
{"result-set":{"docs":[{"EXCEPTION":"java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size:
0","EOF":true,"RESPONSE_TIME":11}]}}
{code}

>From the Solr logs:

The stack trace is from Solr 6.6.1 so the lines might be slightly off from master
