Mark Miller updated SOLR-8578:
------------------------------
Summary: Successful requests are not consumed by Solrj clients and all types other than
binary used chunked encoding instead of just setting the content size header. (was: ConcurrentUpdateSolrServer
with BinaryResponseParser leaves 40-42 bytes unconsumed from the request response even without
errors.)

> Successful requests are not consumed by Solrj clients and all types other than binary
used chunked encoding instead of just setting the content size header.

> Does not seem to happen with XML response parser.
> Not the largest deal because HttpClient appears to consume unread bytes from the stream
for us, but something seems off.
