I don't think this is the case, I have just looked at this and it seems that the types are
integer.

numdocs claims this type: javax.management.openmbean.SimpleType(name=java.lang.Integer)

maxdocs claims this type:
javax.management.openmbean.SimpleType(name=java.lang.Integer)
