Subject [jira] [Commented] (SOLR-2440) Schema Browser more user friendly
Date Sat, 05 Jan 2013 19:48:12 GMT

Stefan Matheis (steffkes) commented on SOLR-2440:

[~jcodina] i had a look at the patches, because i wanted to check if the current UI includes
all features which are suggested here. so, correct me if i'm wrong - we have all things, expect
the "query" functionality.

And that is, you provide a query, requesting the following url:

instead of

afterwards taking the values from {{response.facet_counts.facet_fields[field]}} to generate
the list of terms. right?

If so, just to mention it and still checking if i understood this correct:
* we don't know the max number of (top-)terms, we have to rely on provided data
* we don't have data for displaying the histogram

Is that really helpful? Or maybe (just thinking loud) would it be better to fetch the "default"
information in either case and then have some kind of intersection between the default and
the current (filtered by query) informations?

> # Changes the Css to do not capitalise the links
> # Sorts the field names
> # It replaces the tokens by links to a search query with that token
