David Rekowski created SOLR-3481:
------------------------------------
Summary: Date field value differs between two installations
Key: SOLR-3481
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-3481
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Bug
Components: SearchComponents - other
Affects Versions: 3.6
Environment: A. Mac 10.7.4 with integrated Jetty
B. Ubuntu 12.04 with Tomcat
Reporter: David Rekowski
When I query the Solr Server, I get a formatted timestamp in environment A "2012-05-11T12:59:01.691Z",
whereas I get a unix timestamp like number in environment B "1336728376797" which looks like
the date extended by microseconds.
The corresponding schema definition:
<field name="index_time_s" type="date" indexed="true" stored="true" default="NOW" multiValued="false"/>
Background: We migrated an index generated on a mac/jetty to a linux/tomcat installation of
Solr. Regardless of that, this happens with newly indexed documents as well.
