Subject [jira] [Commented] (LUCENE-3523) WordBreakSpellChecker
Date Thu, 24 May 2012 15:03:56 GMT

James Dyer commented on LUCENE-3523:

This patch contains a standalone feature and doesn't affect anything else. I would like to
commit this sometime soon (and SOLR-2993 to integrate word-break spelling corrections in Solr).
This is a feature our previous search engine has that Lucene/Solr so far do not have.

> A spellchecker that generates suggestions by combining two or more terms and/or breaking
terms into multiple words. This would typically be used in addition to one of the existing
spell checkers to get both traditional and word-break suggestions for the end user.
