Marek,
This exception is caused by QueryElevationComponent. I had the same issue
and solved it by
commenting out all query tags in elevate.xml. The example file contains
something like
<query text="foo bar">
  <doc id="1" />
  <doc id="2" />
  <doc id="3" />
 </query>
which will cause the exception.
