Thanks David. so, i will be sure to add the custom cache.

running into some issues when using a range query on a multiValue GeoHash. 

sometimes the values are outside of the range provided.

is that expected? and if so, why?

I created an abstraction GeoShape extended by subclasses named PointDistance... and CartesianBox.... to support different queried shapes so that the filter need not care about these details.
