This comes from facet.query's in the /browse handler definition:

{code}
<str name="facet.query">ipod</str>
<str name="facet.query">GB</str>
{code}

I just added, locally, {code}<str name="df">text</str>{code} and all is well.
 Is that the fix we want to commit?
