Subject [jira] [Resolved] (SOLR-2739) TestSqlEntityProcessorDelta.testNonWritablePersistFile failures on some systems
Date Mon, 26 Sep 2011 21:08:15 GMT

Hoss Man resolved SOLR-2739.
----------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

I've committed additional "assume" statements to the test so that we not only verify setReadonly
succeeds, but subsequent calls to canWrite fail. this should ensure that people running as
root (or on esoteric filesystems that don't support read only files) don't see false failures.

> Shawn Heisey noted on the mailing list that he was getting consistent failures from TestSqlEntityProcessorDelta.testNonWritablePersistFile
on his machine.
> I can't reproduce his exact failures, but the test is hinky enough that i want to try
and clean it up.
