IMO this can go on branch 3x.  Users don't have to use "NOW" in date faceting, they can use
an explicit date assuming they are even doing date faceting (vs numeric range faceting). And
even if "NOW" is used, the bug condition is relatively minor (no crash or exception, just
some slightly off numbers) and furthermore limited to a small time window assuming you round
it like "NOW/DAY".
