Subject [jira] Commented: (SOLR-2374) Create UpdateFileRequestHandler
Date Fri, 18 Feb 2011 15:58:40 GMT

Timo Schmidt commented on SOLR-2374:

Hey Jan,

thanks, for your answer. I've allready heard about zookeeper, but currently we do not use
it. I'll have a deeper look into that.

>From my user perspective it would be nice to have in interface in solr to push new configuration
and i thing that this should be independent from the fact if i use zookeeper or not. I'll
have a look on that but maybe there is some one in the solr community with a deeper knowledge
that can help me on that.

a seperrat request handler. Since i am very new to solr development i've prepared a patch
with a new UpdateFileRequest handler. Maybe it would be good to refactor the existing fileRequestHandler.

I think this is better for security reasons.
