Subject [jira] Commented: (SOLR-2063) Search Grouping: single doclist format
Date Wed, 24 Nov 2010 14:45:14 GMT

Yonik Seeley commented on SOLR-2063:
------------------------------------

Proposal:

If group.main=true then the first grouping command will be used for the main result list (i.e.
what you currently get for a normal ungrouped response).
For this main result list, the parameters will be interpreted somewhat differently:
 - group.offset will be ignored... it doesn't make sense in a flattened list.
 - start/rows will revert to their traditional meaning - numbers of documents, not numbers
of groups

Thoughts?
