I thought about that, too: I would not do this. Especially because I want to have the 0-version
(current) as first element for serialization purposes (changing the order of enum constants
is bad, you should always add them at the end).

Eventually we want to make the accessor to the interver v somehow public (for more specific
comaprisons and so on).
