great! Will look into at at the weekend in more datails.

 I have moved this part to Constructor on my local copy, it passes all tests:

+    if (disiDocQueue == null) {
+      initDisiDocQueue();
+    }


it is in next() and skipTo()....

practically the same as reported in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-1145, with
this, 1145 can be closed
