: Subject: Explanation of "raw" in SearchFiles.java

: hi,
: i was going throuh my first program in lucene, and came across this
: statement

there doesn't seem to be a question here - yes there is a "raw" variable,
if you search that code for "raw" you'll se where it gets set by a "-raw"
option, if you run SearchFiles with -raw you'll see what it does.

Incidently: Your question is better suited for the java-user@lucene
mailing list ... not the java-dev@lucene list. java-dev is for discussing
development of the internals of the Lucene Java library ... it is *not*
the appropriate place to ask questions about how to use the Lucene Java
library when developing your own applications.

If you would like to followup on this question again, please resend your
message to the java-user mailing list, where you are likely to get
more/better responses since that list also has a larger number of
subscribers.
