An IndexReader/IndexWriter combination that can be used to do searches
as well as just deletes.

Haven't thought it through... just throwing out ideas.  To support
deletes, a call-out would need to be done before merges of any
segments are done with deleted documents that can change the ids
(either that, or ids would need to be changed to match).

I was thinking that to support deleteByQuery or deleteByTerm, the
segments, or readers over the segments  would be needed to get the
internal docids (hence List<Reader> or List<Directory>)
