Another boolean parameter 'create' is probably needed.   
   
One more question: can calls to indexreader.delete() freely be mixed with   
IndexWriter.add() using this class? When I tried that it seems my test program   
was stuck -- so do I need to call accessor.release() when switching from 
reader to writer and vice versa?
