I attach a patch to this bug but the patch should solve bugs 16370, 11636, and 
14665 as well and provides correct escaping behavior for fields and terms that 
are not quoted. Escaping the escape char should work as well.

Note that I had to uncomment some test cases and provide others as it seemed to 
me that the test cases were testing an incorrect behavior.
