I submitted a minor enhancement request at http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D21921. Asking for a getPrefix method to PrefixQuery and to make= getEnum(IndexReader reader) in MultiTermQuery a public method. Am happy to submit= patch if necessary. Kelvin
