Subject RE: log4net in VS 2008 and .Net 3.5 environment?

I have not had any issues running log4Net in a 3.5 framework environment
in a Any CPU build on a x64 bit system. (Using the 2.0 framework build
of log4Net.)

I only use the simple appenders (rolling file appender and console
appender). I don't know anything about using any of the ADO or IP based

Thanks Michael,

Afraid that won't work for us (isn't the whole world now running 64
bit?? :-) ).

You can continue to use the Fx 2.0 version library when you move to Fx

you try to deploy on 64 bit Windows running Fx 3.5.)

VS 2K5/Fx 2.0 to VS 2k8/Fx 3.5.

We are currently running with VS 2005, .Net Framework 2.0, and

VS 2008 and .Net 3.5. My question is, how have others handled this
change with log4net? From the website, only the 2.0 framework is
