Hi David

You can use the "Pattern Layout" "Conversion Character" "t" (lower-case).
According to the documentation it will output the thread name (if=20
available) or alternatively the thread number.

So your config might look similar to  the following :

                <appender name=3D"Console"=20
type=3D"log4net.Appender.ConsoleAppender">
                        <layout type=3D"log4net.Layout.PatternLayout">
                                <conversionPattern value=3D"%p %t %c - %m%n=
"=20
/>
                        </layout>
                </appender>

See the documentation on the PatternLayout Class for more Conversion=20
Characters.
