Subject RE: Should I use v1.1 or v1.2b8 for production
Date Thu, 23 Sep 2004 15:15:08 GMT
Simon - I'm using 1.2b8 in production (and I believe most people
recommend it over 1.1 due to bug fixes that have been incorporated). It
has been working fine for me (although I'm just using file appenders).
I personnally would like some sort of indication as to the release plans
or roadmap. There is development work going on and good support in
getting questions/problems resolved, so its not a dead project.

Thanks, Mike Lansdaal

Subject: Should I use v1.1 or v1.2b8 for production

Hi, I'm new to log4net and am just beginning to evaluate it. I notice
that v1.2 has been in beta for over a year. Should I be using the 1.1
release, or is 1.2b8 stable enough for production use? Is anyone out
there using 1.2b8 in production?

Thanks,
Simon.
