Dominik Psenner closed LOG4NET-359.
-----------------------------------

    Resolution: Invalid

Closing as an invalid bug report. Please ask questions to the log4net-user mailing lists (http://logging.apache.org/log4net/mail-lists.html).

Anyway - you probably will find an answer to your question by looking at the IFilter interface
or its direct implementation, the FilterSkeleton class in the namespace "log4net.filter".

> What's the best way to get the RenderedMessage of the logger?
> At the moment I have a thread (logwatcher) that checks if there is a line added to the
logger. The thread takes a lot of performance.
> Is there another solution for this? Does the ILog has an event like newMessageReceived?
Or can I create such event for it (how to link that custom event to the logger)?
> Thank you in advance!
