Sorry I see this issue again, say if the issue is environment specific
than I should see with other version of chainsaw also(the one I
downloaded from " http://logging.apache.org/chainsaw/download.html")  I
see this isuue only with chain saw downloaded from
http://people.apache.org/~sdeboy

I just closed all applications and just started the application I need
for this testing than it worked. May be a memory issue.

I have never seen thisproblem, so I'm wondering if you're hitting
something
specific to your environment.

Chainsaw loads all events into memory.  It does use a cyclic buffer by
default (can be turned off), but that could be using a lot of CPU.  Do
you
see a deadlock or are you CPU pegged?  Or maybe you're in swap because
Chainsaw allocates a good amount of memory by default.  Can you check
your
OS to see if you are in swap?

If you are deadlocked (no cpu) could you provide the output of jstack?

If it is cpu pegged, you can change the shell script to allocate more
memory
to the JVM.

Chainsaw relies on log4j and component, extras and receivers companions.
