Hi George,
in my log4j.xml I set up only the XMLSocketReceiver params.
Do you mean I can set up in the xml file branches for opening tabs or db 
receivers?
With Chainsaw, Scott told me I can't configure tabs with the xml file...
Sorry but I'm a newbie and every help is really appreciated!
