Subject log4j failure detection
Date Thu, 08 Apr 2004 12:09:25 GMT
As documented, log4j doesn't normally throw a an exception if if fails during initialization
or afterwards and simply dumps one message to System.err.....but I was wondering if there
was a simple way of detecting a log4j failure or via exception in a future release?? Basically
I wanted to report the failure to a "backup" mechanism.

tia,

Carl
