Subject JMSAppender -> Remote JMS Queue?
Date Wed, 11 Dec 2002 15:26:08 GMT
Is it possible to use the JMSAppender to direct log events to a JMS queue located on a remote
machine? If so, what happens in the event of there being a communication failure with the
remote machine? Would it be better to direct it to a local JMS queue and have a local Message
Bean take responsibility for forwarding the event to the remote machine, including taking
responsibility for retries in the event of communication failure.
