Subject Stop Logging for several Categories
Date Fri, 02 Aug 2002 12:09:01 GMT
Hello,

Using log4j-1.1.3 with the PropertyConfigurator it seems not to be possible to stop logging
for all or several Categories. Is it right that at minimum the FATAL Priorities get logged?
Is there a way to stop logging for the rootCategory completely and log all events of Category
father.child?
If it is not possible to use a property File, what do I have to do when using a xml file for
configuring the logging process.

Thanks for your answers.

Thorsten
