Summary: l7dlog() methods do not support FQCN of wrapper classes. Product: Log4j Version: 1.2 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: Other AssignedTo: log4j-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: jmock@dsrnet.com The l7dlog() methods, unlike the standard log() methods, do not support the passing of a fully-qualified class name into the logger. As a result, the Logger class utilizes the FQCN initialized and stored in the base Category class. Recommend adding a l7dlog() method with a similar signature as the generic log () method. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: log4j-dev-unsubscribe@jakarta.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: log4j-dev-help@jakarta.apache.org
