Well, as I haven't heard a reply attached are the classes I have written and
converted to the log4j1.3 interfaces. Do with them as you wish.

    |
    |
    |I finsihed converting all the ones I previously had over
    |to the seperated
    |RollingPolicy and TriggeringPolicy interfaces.
    |
    |What I have so far:
    |
    | triggering:
    | NeverTriggeringPolicy
    | DateTriggeringPolicy
    | SizeTriggeringPolicy
    |
    | rolling:
    | TimestampRollingPolicy
    | IndexedRollingPolicy
    |
    |
    |I had two other questions also.
    |
    |1) How are these to get configured and attached to
    |appenders? For now, I
    |just made all the above implement OptionHandler.
    |
    |2) Is the idea to eventually have a single version of
    |rollable appenders?
    |For example, one version of FileAppender which would
    |accept rolling and
    |triggering policies and coordinate rolling activities
    |based on those
    |assigned policies? If so, I would also like to propose a
    |marker interface
    |for appenders which would be capable handling rolling. It
    |would really just
    |need some simple getters and setters for the rolling-policy and
    |triggering-policy.
