I cant control the Additivity of logger from Properites file.

Raghava,
It is not a bug. It is entirely possible to control the additivity via a
property file.
log4j.additivity.your.category.name=false
In the future, please forward such questions to the log4j-user email list
before writing them up as bugs. If after discussion on the user list, it
appears to be a bug, and not a misunderstanding, then by all means post a bug.
