Subject RE: configuration question
Date Wed, 14 Jan 2004 18:19:47 GMT

Howdy,
The logger hierarchy is the same as the class hierarchy in most default
standard configurations. You can configure it however you want both via
configuration files and programmatically, however. You can go as far as
creating custom Hierarchy objects.

This is a question for the log4j-user list rather than the general list,
so please continue the discussion there if you wish.

Subject: configuration question

Where is the logger hierarchy configured / defined, in a class structure
or can all this be done in the config file?

Probably a stupid question but if anybody takes the time to give a
point, it is very much appreciated

Regards

Joe
