[~Mariem] It's still slightly early for GSoC 2015 (I don't know yet if we will participate
- it depends on the availability of the mentors), but to get a better idea of what this task
encompasses, you can have a look at this pull request - https://github.com/apache/libcloud/pull/345

In this pull request most of the basic functionality has been implemented, but it still needs
a discussion and agreement on the base API on the mailing list and a bunch of polishing (tests,
driver for AWS, docs, etc.).
