But (unless I'm missing something), Karaf cannot yet log to the systemd journal, out of the box? https://github.com/bwaldvogel/log4j-systemd-journal-appender is a project which seems to make this easy. Would a contribution to Karaf to include this external library in the distribution and have an example configuration in etc/org.ops4j.pax.logging.cfg be welcome?
