The behavior depends if you use the startup stage or boot stage.
For the startup stage, the resolution is done when the assembly is being built, so we definitely
not copy multiple versions of a feature, only the one that has been selected during the resolution.
 At boot stage, the resolution is done at runtime, so we may need the various possibilities
in order to select the best one.  Do you have a more precise example ? I agree that if there's
a range specified somewhere, we should avoid copying features that do not match the range.
