Subject [jira] [Commented] (KARAF-4741) karaf-maven-plugin creates 'wrap' bundle specs for non-jar dependencies
Date Fri, 30 Sep 2016 06:35:20 GMT

Guillaume Nodet commented on KARAF-4741:

As a generic workaround to ignore some dependencies, you can put them in the "provided" scope
and set the "ignoreScopeProvided" flag of the plugin to true.

> -----------------------------------------------------------------------
>                 Key: KARAF-4741
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-4741
>             Project: Karaf
>          Issue Type: Improvement
>    Affects Versions: 4.0.6
>            Reporter: Benson Margulies
> For reasons of managing bnd default, I have a dependency:
> {code}
>    <groupId>mygroup</groupId>
>    <artifactId>myartifact</artifactId>
>    <type>bnd</type>
> {code}
> this is a text file (a bnd.bnd file, to be exact).
> I was bemused to discover:
> wrap_file__Users_benson_x_rosapi1.5_assemblies_full-test_target_assembly_system_com_basistech_buildtools_14.1.1_buildtools-14.1.1.bnd
> in my bundle list: the maven plugin has asked the wrap feature to convert my text file
into an OSGi bundle.
> I submit that it would be better if the maven plugin excluded this case.
