Hi Manjula,

A tool like FileZilla might open multiple (parallel) connections to upload
a file. I imagine that JMeter only uses a single connection. So if the FTP
server limited the bandwidth for a single connection, FileZilla might give
better 'performance'.

There should be some configuration in FileZilla to disable multiple
connections. Perhaps you could disable this and check again?
