Hey Robin,
    Can you submit an enhancement bug for tracking.  When I worked on
the Test Fragment feature I had Threads in a SimpleController at one
point by accident.  I remember them working without error.

I agree that Folders for Threads would allow for some extra
organization within a Test Plan.  I can probably take a look.
