Subject RE: Best practices for frame based web application
Date Thu, 23 Jun 2011 07:38:59 GMT

I can see "Retrieve all embedded resources from HTML files" checkbox
under optional tasks in HTTP Request Sampler. Do you mean this option?

Instead of checking that option in HTTP request sampler, Can I do in
HTTP request config element?

I'm unable to find "CacheManager" in any of JMeter components. Are you
pointing "HTTP Cookie Manager"?

Thanks & Regards,
Palani Selvam

It Depends(tm). ;-)

You can include these requests by checking the "retrieve embedded
content" box of the HTTPSamplers.

Personally, I prefer doing just that. There are others who will advise
to ignore those static pages.

Remember to use a CacheManager to get more realistic results.
