Did you see OutofMemory Error in console where you started JMeter.
Same thing happened to me and it was memory issue. If this is the case
with you, you can increase Heap Size while starting JMeter.
Also make sure that you don't have "View Result Tree" Listener in your
test plan. It takes lot of memory.

Thanks,
Nitin

Subject: Jmeter stops ( not hanging )

Hello,

I may miss something concerning threat properties scope and
capabilities.

i can notice that when i set number of threads to 100 thread or higher,
jmeter stops working ( not hanging ). it is just stops. i thought it may
just needed some time and i left it 24 hours. and nothing occurs.

first of all it started counting from 1 to 50. then the counting stops.
and
suddenly jumped to 23.. then to -4.. then -10. then stays just like
that.
it is not the same pattern each time. it might stop at any count and i
am
obliged to stop the test ( Run menue-->Stop)

am i missing anything ?

Regards,
Hosam
